nVidia’s Fastest Dual-GPU Graphics Card Released

Finally we have the dual-GPU variant of the nVidia’s GTX series. We also have done some benchmarks of the GPU done as well with the Radeon HD 6990. The nVidia’s dual-GPU card beats the AMD’s currently fastest GPU ( HD 6990 ) with an considerable margin in some games. But in some games the AMD stands out as well.

This result is kind of even at the mark, because some game utilizes the nVidia’s technology like SLI, Physx etc;. Where as in AMD, Direct compute, Eye-Finity etc;. But both cards also have 3D display features to. So it is kinda hard to tell which card to buy and both cards are priced at the same level to. So it depends upon which games you play and the games you play utilizes the either of these cards technologies. So its up to you guys to decide.

The GTX 590 has two GTX 580 GPU, it has 1024 CUDA cores. It has 3GB DDR5 Memory, Dual 8-Pin Power connector, 11″ inches long and consumes power of 365W. The GTX 590 is priced same as the HD 6990. So buy the card and enjoy Crysis 2 like anyone never will.

All New nVidia’s Dual-GPU Card Has An Release Date

The new graphics card from nVidia will be the dual-GPU GTX 590. It consist of dual GPU processors of the GTX 580. This card from nVidia comes in for the competition for AMD’s HD 6990 Antilles. Which is currently the fastest card on the planet ( period ). Will the GTX590 be faster than the HD 6990? Well we must have to wait until March 22.

And for the releasing date, it releases as the same date when one of the most anticipated game of this year releasing. Yes, it is Crysis 2. Crysis 2 is releasing on the same date when GTX 590 is releasing. We might even expect an Crysis 2 special edition bundle for the GTX 590. If that was the case many gamers would be happy. But I wish they give that offer on GTX 580 & 570 as well.

So finally this generation of graphics card wars are really heating up. Last time nVidia was behind but for now things changed drastically. And readers if you any new info on this news do comment below.

Razer SwitchBlade Portable Gaming PC

Razer revealed the Switchblade, its concept for a mobile PC gaming platform a PC gaming and multimedia device that fits in your hand.

Though this product is but a concept at the moment, Razer’s vision for the Switchblade includes a 7-inch screen and a dynamic LCD keyboard. That is, the keys are clear, tactile buttons laid atop a dynamic LCD screen that will change depending on what game you’re playing or what you’re doing in the game. Imagine questing in World of Warcraft and jumping into a vehicle. Rather than your in-game UI changing, the keyboard’s display itself would change to represent the vehicle’s controls and abilities.

It’s unlikely that a device like this could be used for long sessions of hardcore gaming even if the keyboard works perfectly, that’s some serious eye strain but it could make PC gaming on the go a reality rather than the clunky kludges it’s been thus far. Here’s hoping this product actually hits the market.

Top 10 Games To Look Out For In 2011!

Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception

In the two previous games Naughty Dog focused on lush jungle and beautiful snow and really pulled it off. This time the element is the sands in Arabia. Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception is said to focus on the relationship between Sully and Drake as the pair search for a lost city in the Arabian Peninsula and across the Rub’ al Khali Desert. T.E Lawrence is said to be an inspiration for the story and setting. Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception’s new features include the ability to fight hand-to-hand with multiple enemies as well as ‘enhanced backward climbing’ – though quite how that pans out remains to be seen. And also the previous game in this franchise has also won VGA Game of the year 2009.

Mass Effect 3

Mass Effect 3 was confirmed for a Holiday 2011 release at Spike Video Game Awards awards. Set to take place on Earth, the game will see players traveling the universe attempting to rally the races of Citadel Space to take the human homeworld back and defeat the Reapers and their Collector army once and for all. The trailer alluded to rumors of a new multiplayer element for the series, which will likely take place amidst the human resistance’s battle with the Collector invasion force.Yet still we didn’t even recover from their masterpiece Mass Effect 2.

Dragon Age 2

At Gamescom Electronic Arts announced the release date for the sequel. You’ll be able to get your hands on Dragon Age 2 on March 8 in North America and March 11 in Europe. Dragon Age 2 features a tweaked art style and new combat system that should be friendlier for console controllers. It’s no secret that BioWare has made some drastic, and in my opinion positive, changes to Dragon Age 2 – faster attack animations, a distinctive art style, an adapted version of the Mass Effect conversation wheel plus a fully voiced main character. The updated combat is by far favorite, as it is found that the formerly sloth-like animations to be downright dull.

Resistance 3

There are a lot of PlayStation 3 exclusives coming out in 2011, and one of those titles that has gamers extremely interested is Resistance 3. For the third game, players will take control of Joseph Capelli, who was discharged from the service after the events of Resistance 2. For instance, Joseph Capelli is indeed Resistance 3′s main character. The blog post (written by Marcus Smith of Insomniac) reveals that Capelli, discharged from service since the events of Resistance 2, was hiding out with his wife Susan and son Jack in the middle of the United States, at a location called Haven, Oklahoma. The Chimera have won the worldwide conflict decisively, and Capelli’s journey across the United States towards New York City in Resistance 3 is a journey taken in order to try to take one last stand against complete Chimera domination. Any remaining vestiges of humanity are being systematically eliminated by what Smith coins as “roving death squads and drones,” and from the images in the story, hope seems to be non-existent. The game will ship on Sept. 6, 2011. Specific territories were not announced.

Witcher 2

Anyone who played CD Projekt RED’s The Witcher, a fantasy role-playing game, will find quite a few things different about the sequel, called Assassins of Kings. The timing-based combat system from before where you had to time button presses properly to pull off combo chains has been removed. The conversation system has been tweaked so it flows much more naturally. The game engine has been rewritten, which should make it feel like quite a different experience. This game, above almost all others coming this year, has the potential to surprise you with its depth, beauty and focus on true role-playing. Read on for our thoughts on why The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings should be on your most-wanted list.

Batman: Arkham City will be releasing on Q3 2011.

Playing as a hero from one of five distinct character classes, players will acquire powerful items, spells, and abilities as they explore new and familiar areas of Sanctuary and battle hordes of demons to safeguard the world from the horrors that have arisen. Elder Scrolls 5

Bethesda Software tonight announced The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim at the Spike Video Game Awards show. Bethesda designer Todd Howard took the stage to announce the long-awaited title. Elder Scrolls V will be released on Nov. 11, 2011. Platforms were not announced. The teaser trailer shown referenced the ending to the fourth installment, Oblivion, likely confirming that it surfaced last month. Howard told IGN during QuakeCon this past August The Elder Scrolls V will not use id Tech 5, the same game engine currently powering id Software’s shooter Rage. With limited supplies and no re-enforcements, the ISA must now fight not to win a war, but to survive a lost one.
