Google always surprises its users with something everyday, Today the something is “Google Search (Home) Page Personalization”. Here after we can personalize our Google Search page with our own Pictures, like themes to iGoogle. The difference is you can personalize it with any of your picture available over internet or in your computer.
Google says “Today, we’re introducing a new feature that brings a whole new level of personalization to Google by letting you add a favorite photo or image to the background of the Google homepage. You can choose a photo from your computer, your own Picasa Web Album or a public gallery hosted by Picasa which includes a selection of beautiful photos.” in its official blog.

This functionality will be available for US in few days, and others will see this option bottom left corner of Google search page soon.
