Fix-it is available online since 2008 and it comes pre-installed in Windows 7, which is now available for both XP and Vista. It can be accessed from [control panel -> system security -> find and fix problems] in Windows 7. When you run Fix It, you’ll see a list of things to examine, such as display quality, performance, and incoming connections. Clicking the “run” button next to each item launches an automatic troubleshooter. Each one only takes a minute or two.[source- PCworld]

Since the day I started to use PC (still XP) I had crossed many system problems and the Windows’ help and error reporting is just so irritating till now. I spent my two third of my time in PC to fix the problems.Tired of using sharewares and freewares like Cleanup utilities, registry cleaner, speed up.

From the review in a Magazine site I found Fix-it is good for smaller and common problems, and the User Friendly design is pleasing with limited details and options  to the naive users. As usual the interface is self explanatory to use.

Can Fix-it diagnose major problems or at least find it, or crash itself and create another problem which needs another fix it action? Interested to hear it from the users in comments.

Note : Really Interesting

open a fresh new note pad and type “bill can you fixit” without quotes and save as “answer.txt” in desktop then close the note pad. now you can able to see Bill’s answer when you open the notepad in the desktop.
