Enable Themes in Google Apps – Gmail

Are you excited by Gmail themes in your normal gmail account? Do you want the same feature in your Google Apps Gmail Account.

This hack is only for Google Apps mail users (Mail users of other domains other than gmail) and not for other normal users, because normal users normally have this feature enable under ‘Settings ‘ of your gmail account.

Regarding themes in ‘Apps’  account, it was not pre-enabled for users. So they need to enable themes first. There is no direct link or option provided in the settings tab in your apps account like your normal gmail account. We are going to follow a simple step to do this.

Edit the following link by replacing “yourdomain.com” with your google apps account domain..

https://mail.google.com/a/yourdomain.com/#settings/themes

For example, here my apps domain is ‘alvistor.com’ so the resultant url is

https://mail.google.com/a/alvistor.com/#settings/themes

The next step is to sign in to my Google apps account and once you’ve reached your inbox, just paste the link in your URL bar. You will be now presented with list of themes available for your gmail apps account..

After this the ‘Themes’ link will be available under your ‘Settings’ link. You can change your gmail theme anytime…
