Annoying Fake E-mails

Why people receiving annoying emails daily? I receive more than 200 spam e-mails daily and most of you so. But I am not pointing those ‘Spam e-mails’  now,  those are secondary, the primary one is annoying e-mails from the people in our contact lists like our friends, colleagues, and others.

Yes, everyone of us experienced this, a mail from our dearest, friends, colleagues recommending us to forward those to our friends.. with one or other content listed below,

1. mail which includes a sad story of somebody who needs money for operation, and a note to follow this to your friends, if did then AOL or other Internet service providers will agreed to deposit money in their account and most importantly with heart touching words which drive you to forward those to everybody.
2. mail with some photo and with pressurized words to forward those pics to your  friends to avoid bad luck or to get a good luck in coming days.
3. mail with some product info, and a para which says if you forward that to 20 people you will get a piece of that product like new model phone, laptop or any other gadget.
4. mail with company name like MicroSoft, and says that for forwarding it you will be paid by them, and with people’s confirmation of  “yes its working” and others says “I received $100 in my bank account”.

These are 100% fake. For ‘type 1′ mail no service provider like AOL or Google or anybody will accept to pay for such nonsense e-mails and practically they can’t track all the forwarded e-mails and then list the e-mail ids, they have lots of most important works in their to-do lists.

For ‘type 2′, this is purely concerns about the particular person’s mind, I am not going to comment those who forwards it, but for those I want to say Luck does not comes after you for forwarding a mail.

For ‘type 3′ again its the same reason given for ‘type 1′ and for ‘type 4′ you have to think this, how can somebody find a person’s account number from his e-mail id. No company will do this. A year before I received this type of mail asking to send my bank account number to someone after forwarding.

At last you may ask this question “If it is fake, then why people are doing this? who start this? who are the beneficent of this?” The answer is, some of the folks in the internet collects e-mail ids for sending annoying e-mail about products, drugs and other sell-able products(usually referred as E-mail Marketing). These ids are collected from this mail, this is why we get spam mails about adult websites and drugs.

Check those mails they have thousands of e-mail ids of your friends and friends of friends. Not only the person who created the mail is benefited, also anybody in the forward loop will be benefited for those list of ids in the forwarded e-mails. Some of the hackers collect your bank account details by sending ‘type 4′ mails which leads to cyber crime like breaching your bank account. your ids also be listed when your friend decided to forward a copy of above listed mails to you even though you never forward it.

Till now me and my friends had never experienced the serious consequences of this like hacked bank accounts, and other accounts like paypal. Precaution is better then cure. So please be aware of these consequences. So stop forwarding those annoying e-mails here after and save your privacy and also your friends.
